Tribute Automotive provide a GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic…. or Fibreglass to you and me) kit that bolts on top of a MK1 Mazda MX5. They say the transformation can be done for around £4,000 though we suspect that’s a little ambitious.

Either way, with a bit of hard work, a MK1 Mazda MX5 donor car and some imagination, your $38Million Ferrari 250 GTO is just an electric sander and a lick of paint away from reality.
